Well we've taken the first step to being Tennessee first hemp farmers in seventy years. By submitting our application to grow industrial hemp were on our way to uncharted territories But this was not the beginning of our grow for when legislation was passed last year the planning began. We tossed around all the possibilities with legalized hemp products and decided to grow for fun.
We established a name, Tennessee Hemp Seed and started research on everything from application to harvest and processing. Our application has been submitted and we await our chance grow hemp agriculturally. Thanks to the TNHIA and Vote hemp for there support!

Still waiting to receive a license we have decided to erect a processing Building. A concrete floor to start! field planning and plowing to begin soon. 4/15/2015 Its official Tennessee Hemp Seed was issued a license to grow Industrial hemp by the Tennessee Dept. of Agriculture and now were waiting on DEA approval. 4/17/2015 TDA took our seed order today, We asked for Fedora and crs1 if it was possible. It seems Canda is the most readily available. If it is possible we would like some of every strain and may trade pound for pound for some. |

Memorial day is upon us and we still do not have any seed. We've cut hay raked and baled. Tilled the soil and chosen were to plant what! would of been a great weekend for planting!

Started prep work on the fields. First was the visitors field were going to put a field up front behind a small sunflower field we plan on making amaze out of. We disking up about 2/12 acres.
