3/8/16 germination test starting

Its almost spring and we cant wait so we have started planning to produce a lot of seedlings! We want to transplant seedlings to see if planting like tobacco would benefit the plants ability to outgrow weeds.
Our germination testing will supply estimates of seed /plant ratio's and seed to seedling rates. We have found that germination rates vary and even like batches of seed have various ranges. Parkland seed and Hemp genetics seed supplied last years seed and we found varying results but because of last year, we are going to check before producing mass quantities.

The ground is being disked over so that prep can begin to prepare the soil for our organic medicinal hemp grow. We expect to plant 17 acres of a medicinal hemp this year. The grow will be studied and reported here as they happen.

Well its on were sweetening the soil for our organic grow with 900 gallons of fish slurry, 900 gallons molasses, and sufficient microbes to turn the soil into compost heaven. Then we turn the soil again and hope for a quick shot of rain. Its getting pretty dry for may!
